In a heartwarming initiative, Mix 95.7 is teaming up with Uptown Cheapskate and Two Men in a Truck to spearhead a special drive aimed at collecting prom and formal dresses for girls in need across West Michigan.
Starting from March 3rd through March 16th, individuals are encouraged to participate by donating gently used or cherished girls dresses, along with accessories and shoes, to help make prom dreams come true for teenagers in the region.
Once the donations are gathered and spruced up, a free giveaway event is scheduled for March 29th, from 11 am to 3 pm, at the Two Men & a Truck warehouse in Comstock Park (284 Dodge St #104). This event will provide an opportunity for anyone seeking a prom dress to find the perfect attire.
Multiple drop-off locations have been designated for the convenience of donors during business hours, including Uptown Cheapskate outlets in Grandville and Kentwood, as well as the Two Men And A Truck location in Comstock Park, and the David D. Hunting YMCA in Downtown Grand Rapids.
This collaborative effort aims to ensure that every girl in West Michigan can experience the magic of prom night, thanks to the generosity and support of the community. It’s a wonderful way to give back and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals during this special time of year.
